Licensing

All images are available through a “license to use” a legal document that outlines the parameters for which you can use the chosen image/s. For further information regarding license terms and conditions please click here.

When an image is added to the basket you will then be prompted to select the license type you require. After completing the payment process (via the online secure account) your “license to use” will be emailed or mailed to you with the image/s. Also see paragraph 4.

Where a credit card payment is not possible for corporate bodies, there is an option to enable an invoice to be sent out.

Where 1 or 2 images are purchased there will be a single attempt at emailing them. If this proves unsuccessful the images will be mailed on a disc. Where 3 or more images are purchased the order will be mailed.

If you do not wish to use the online service you can download the license order form and mail it with a cheque. You will then be sent the license to use and image/s on disc.

All orders will be dealt with promptly.

License Types

There are two types of license:

• Non Exclusive

  Though you have a license to use the images, you do not have an exclusive right to the image/s, i.e. someone else can also take out a license on the same image/s.

• Exclusive

  This type of license means you have the sole right for use within the remit of the license, i.e. no one else can license the image/s within the term of your license. Call for availability and pricing.

Note: An exclusive license can only be purchased for images that are not already purchased as non exclusive.

Note: At all times whether non exclusive or exclusive, Antony Stone has a right to use any image for personal promotional purposes.

For ease of use the license parameters are set out below, when ordering you only need to know which category you will be using the images for.

Note: It is important that before ordering you have read and are aware of the copyright law governing these images.

The license terms above are for non-exclusive use. For exclusive use, where your requirements do not fit within these categories or you require clarification, please call for information and pricing.

Where all images from an event are required for use you may wish to use the “commission me” service. Contact us for this service.
